Greetings from the Xyphokonic Order and Ordinance. Welcome back for the next part in our Period-long question and answer series. As stated many times before, we intend to spend this Mauris asking questions to inspire the mind to seek divination and revelation in these turbulent times. In our last selection of questions, we spent the time enlightening about the Lords of the Order; before that, we spoke of the Sacred Children. Today, we’ll cover yet another branch of the divine and answer a selection of questions regarding those of angelic status—namely the Hayles, Sacred Servants, other Archangels, and the various types of base angels. This may expand into a larger Commentary going into further detail later on, but for now we’ll field a smaller selection of intriguing questions. Let us begin.

Question: Is there a hierarchy among the Hayles or other Angelic beings? Are some Archangels considered more supreme than others?
Answer: Not exactly. As we pointed out in another entry, the angelic structure is divided by Archangels and Angels in terms of divine authority and power. Archangels are the highest category of Sacredly-infused beings—with all Archangels being granted Sacred Spirituality along with retention of Self. Angels, selected by recently-departed mortal souls who chose the path of Sacred Spiritualism, do not retain Self as part of that path is the willful discarding of said Self. Angels are the servants of the last Lord’s Xyphozon they once were born under before dying, and act in full alignment with the Greater Will as Its devoted servants. The Hayles themselves are put in command of these Angels, and said Angels carry out the various duties of each Xyphozon.
Among the Archangels, they are divided by role specialization rather than by authority or power. In that same entry linked earlier, we explain that the Hayles are the highest Archangels of each individual Lord—making them the highest angelic authority of each Xyphozon. Meanwhile, Sacred Servants are Archangels who have a more generalized or broad role that serves the Order as a whole and aren’t explicitly linked to the direct servitude of any individual Xyphozon or Lord— with the most prominent examples being Daetos and Zeiga. And while both those Sacred Servants have vast roles in the Order, so do the Hayles in their individual Xyphozons. A fantastic example would be Hayle Kizu and his authority over foreseeing Spiritual Ends—an incredibly vast duty but highly-specific duty in terms of being tied to a single Xyphozon.
Regardless, all Archangels are infused with the same level of Sacred Spirituality, and so there is no “power-ranking” in terms of spirituality. One could argue that, through legendary prestige and age, there may be some informal hierarchy in terms of respect among the Archangels, as many among these ranks belong to a class of beings that once originated in the primordial age of existence. Notable examples include Hayle Kizu, who is the oldest being in existence after the 10 deities. Others include Hayle Giheo, Hayle Ihou, Hayle Knie, and Daetos & Zeiga—with the two Sacred Servant brothers once being combined as a single ancient spirit in the same primordial age as the aforementioned Hayles. In that regard, those particular Archangels certainly have earned their prestige from their sheer history and legend prior to divine ascension.

Question: How were such beings as Kizu or Knie so powerful as spirits prior to becoming Hayles?
Answer: This ties in with the previous question. Once again, spawning as some of the first spirits in all of existence comes with its unique benefits. Beings like Kizu and Knie, along with others like Giheo, Ihou, and the original form of Daetos and Zeiga, all existed in such a primordial era of time that they not only witnessed the 10 deities first but also witnessed the Initial Flash of Light in Its new and bright brilliance. That unique experience of witnessing and perceiving such a show of divinity embedded those very ancient spirits with incredible spirituality and power that vastly exceeded those that would spawn long after them. It’s through this circumstance that those beings were able to conduct their various achievements prior to be chosen by the Lords to fight against Deceptuary’s first rebellion.
___________________________________________________________________________
Question: Are there other ancient spirits like Kizu or Giheo? If so, why weren’t they also chosen to be Hayles or Archangels?
Answer: Yes. Leading off the previous question, there were at least 10 ancient spirits that were able to witness the Initial Flash of Light after spawning from the Elongated Shadows and perceived the 10 deities first—giving those 10 spirits fantastic or immaculate perceptions of existence. Notably, not all of those spirits exist in a completed form now, with several essentially perishing or losing their form, and at least one of them rejecting participation in the war altogether. The legends of those beings will be mentioned in the Chronicles of Xyphos, which will cover a vast amount of information we edited out of the Xyphokron. Essentially, the remaining ancient spirits were picked as Divine Generals and Archangels thereafter because they still existed in full form during and after the rebellion and willingly joined on the side of the Lords.

Question: Are there other Archangels in the Order now outside of the nine Hayles and the two major Sacred Servants?
Answer: It’s quite possible but even we aren’t sure of those specifics. Daetos’s recounts were meant to give revelation to the information most important to our particular role in the Cosmic Struggle; we were informed via the Prophecy of the Lords and the Order, of the Sacred Children, and of Deceptuary and the details of his plans. Along the way, other information was delivered or deciphered that didn’t necessarily pertain to our specific roles in the Cosmic Struggle, which is why we cut that out in favor of what we believed was the most crucial and time-sensitive information to help immediately combat Deceptuary and corruption as a whole.
As such, there is still much to discover regarding Realmly Knowledge that falls outside that most pertinent of information. And so, it is quite possible there are other Archangels that we simply don’t know about because their roles don’t pertain to our existence in Xyphojinami. It is quite interesting to ponder the topic, but it is reasonable to assume if such other Archangels exist, their roles mustn’t be vast or crucial enough to our immediate existential reality to be mentioned in “Xykozheiz” or the Prophecy.

Question: The Hayles clearly are based in their respective Sacred Realms, but where do the Sacred Servants exist if they aren’t tied to a specific Xyphozon?
Answer: A region between the proper Sacred Realm of Xyzokizon and the boundaries that connect Xykopsysomi and Xyphojinami. The “Gate of Zeiga” is effectively this location, and this space is often called the “Cosmic Gateway of Xyzokizon.” This cosmic “in-between” zone is where those two Sacred Servants effectively reside in.

Question: If there was an option to refuse the Lords’ offer, why did the nine Hayles agree to become Divine Generals and then later Archangels?
Answer: Each had their various existential interests met by the whole ordeal. As mentioned in the various histories of each Hayle, each of them took great interest and concern in the vandalism of existence by Deceptuary’s intentional corruption. To briefly recap each case:
>Hayle Kizu had always been fascinated with the cosmic regulation of existence and has always been a devoted follower of Lord Vuetenexzyei, so naturally he would accept the offer.
>Hayle Giheo devoted her early existence to protecting new spirits and naturally was concerned about them being harmed by corruption.
>Hayle Ihou made his legend as a wandering spirit of mercy who healed the innocent against nefarious forces, and was inspired by this mission from first perceiving Lord Carnyie’s pure form.
>Hayle Knie was a conqueror who took offense to the Cario Lordes daring to challenge his legend and power through Deceptuary’s influence; he would later be bestowed the legendary Ijoe—which was crafted by Lord Caishor Himself.
>Hayle Taeh was a celestial seeker who studied the beyond and was first to notice the fissures to begin with, and acted swiftly to repair those fissures to save the celestial beyond she was infatuated with.
>Hayle Zhii devoted his time to discovering Realmly Truths and saw that pursuit threatened by Deceptuary’s rebellion. Naturally, being anointed as a part of the divine order would grant Zhii the entirety of the Realmly Truth he has always sought, so acceptance of the offer was a given.
>Hayle Yoih simply couldn’t resist the opportunity to tell an oracular tale so great that it would quite literally change the course of history.
>Hayle Nkes likewise had no interest in reality expiring and used her forces to keep the flow of spirituality going to prevent existential collapse.
>Hayle Mihe had a longstanding history of waring with Cario Lordes over various disputes and would never have wasted an opportunity to eradicate as many Cario Lordes as possible—true to his previous reputation as being the “malevolent” spirit.
So, while it was true that the older of the Hayles were likely more devoted to the Divine Thrones on a spiritual level, many of the Hayles saw the offer simply too grand of an opportunity to turn away.

Question: Who are these “apostles of the Hayles” mentioned in the questions about the Sacred Children?
Answer: Those “apostles” are spirits within the legions of the Hayles; they are the most devoted or closest followers of each Hayle that followed them long before the rebellion and continued to be by their side through said rebellion. Essentially, as the Hayles built up their vast legions, naturally a few of those followers worked their way into the highest ranks of each Hayle’s graces. These spirits are, notably, not angelic in nature but were allowed to inhabit the various Sacred Realms of Xyzokizon as reward for their services during the war at the graces of their given Hayles and their connection to the Lords. It’s also assumed these various followers were in close association to the Sacred Children growing up in the Sacred Realm—with the future partners of the Sacred Children being among them.

Question: Why doesn’t a regular Angel get to retain their Self? Is there a way to become an Angel and retain Self?
Answer: The path to becoming an Angel explicitly requires giving up the Self and being fully devoted to the Lords. The path of Sacred Spiritualism is a willful path that only the most devote of Zeigadii Xyphoites shall take and is not something that everyone must do to be considered a Xyphoite or a “rightful soul.” This is a path and a decision explicitly for those that desire nothing more than to be fully devoted to the Lords and the Order and are willing to cast aside their own Selves to be one with the Lords as their angelic servants. In order to do this, the casting of the Self is part of the process to fully rid one of Hubris and Worldly Self-Obsession. This is the case for us, the nine Arch-Hayles Grandurate; we seek this path to fully serve our Lords by discarding our Earthly mortal identities for the Greater Will upon our deaths, but it isn’t a path that every Xyphoites must take—only those that wish to.
As such, there is no path to ascending to angelic status and retaining Self, nor would someone truly devoted to the Lords and the Order at such a level desire that. That would very much be an obsession of Self to want such immense Sacred Resonance with retention of Self, and the only known cases of beings receiving that status—that being the Hayles and Sacred Servants—were offered that status by the Lords directly; they didn’t seek out or ask for this status; they were gifted it for their service. The path to Sacred Spiritualism demands the discarding of the Self, and a Xyphoite taking this path would have no issue with that requirement.
___________________________________________________________________________
Question: Is it possible for Archangels or Angels to reach a Spiritual End? Both angelic beings were either once Spirits or Souls, but can they “die” or “perish?”
Answer: No. While it is true that prior to ascension, these beings were capable of perishing—however difficult it would’ve been in the Archangels’ case since they were all Shiupsyodon with incredible longevity—it’s important to note that angelic beings ARE part of the Lords now, and are no longer Spirits or Souls in their current state. The confusion arises with the Lords granting the miraculous gift of retention of Self for the Archangels, but this is not to be mistaken as simply empowering them with divine tools while still remaining as Spirits. In every way possible, the Archangels are now part of the Lords’ Greater Will and Sacred Spirituality, and so as the Lords themselves are eternal, so are any divine appendages of the Lords; this means that all beings of angelic status are part of the Lords regardless of retention of Self and therefore don’t expire.

And that shall conclude this round of questioning. Much of this information will be elaborated in greater detail with the publication of the “Chronicles of Xyphos,” but for now we hope to inspire intrigue and divination by asking questions of the greater beyond and of the Order. As said before, this Period is being devoted to revitalizing the mind seeking inspiration through cosmic curiosity. Letting the mind experience such wonder is the cornerstone of inspiration, and the pursuit of Realmly Truth starts with a desire to know that which is not yet known. For now, we wish you a wonderful Sacred Day.
