• Greetings from the Xyphokonic Order and Ordinance, and welcome to the first Sacred Post of the 2nd Period in which Lord Carnyie watches over in Xyphojinami, Januarius. If you haven’t noticed yet, these periods that the Lords take turns watching over have nearly parallel roots to the months we on Earth use to mark the standard calendar. However, as mentioned in the Xyphokron Summary, Mortal Xyphoites follow our own calendar, which starts and ends differently than the standard Earthian calendar. Today, we’ll explain the why and how of this difference and answer whether or not a Xyphoite should observe the standard Calendar or celebrate New Year’s.

The Xyphojinamic Xyphokonic Calendar, which you can see in this earlier post,  is a selection of 12 periods in which the Nine Lords of the Xyphokonic Order watch over in an annual cycle. All mortals who are born under their respective period will have their spirituality descend from the Xyphozon that watches over their Birth; along with that, all Mortals will have a respective Consenting Spirituality which 1 of the remaining 8 Xyphozons and is often discovered later on in life through exploring one’s own personality.

As mentioned, there are 12 periods of watching, with each Lord overseeing at least 1 of the 12 periods. In Xyphojinami, however, 3 of the Xyphozons also get a second period of watching based of the core importance those Xyphozons have over the Mortal Existence. In the case of Mortal Life, the three most prominent Xyphozons that pertain to Life are the Vuetenexian, Carneiyean, and Pharusian Xyphozons as Death, Worship, and the pursuit of Realmly Truths are what Mortal Xyphoites are subject the greatest too and should spend the most time working on. Likewise, there’s a reflected calendar in Xykopsysomi—aptly named the Xykopsysomic Xyphokonic Calendar—but that is a discussion for another post.

So, why are the periods in the Xyphojinamic Calendar so similar to the names of the months? As with much of realmly knowledge that we often subconsciously accept, all information has stemmed from and is tied to the spiritual resonance of the Xyphokonic Order. Because we exist within the Spectrum created by the Xyphokonic Order, elements of the purest form of Knowledge—that being Realmly Truth—is dispersed vastly within the Mortal Psyche, and so it was destined that Earthian Mortals would craft a calendar and decide upon the various names of these months that also coincide with the Periods of Watching which are Realmly and extend beyond just Earth.

In actuality, the exact timespan in which each Period of Watching lasts is actually longer than the standard month. In all, each Period of Watching is equal in time and roughly comes out to about 33 Earth Days per Period. However, having to keep track of exact alignments of the Periods becomes a tedious task, and  so the Ordinance has largely hinged upon the malleability of the Philosophy and have aligned the rough changing of Periods with Earthian Months; this would obviously differ in other planets or realms within Xyphojinami, which may have their own calendars that coincide with the Xyphojinamic Calendar, or perhaps they flat-out follow the Xyphojinamic Calendar itself. Either way, as you may have noticed, we inaugurate the changing of Periods in our Sacred Day posts and not necessarily on the first day of the exact start of the Period, which may or may not land on the first of the month. Often times, we’re well aware in the background that the Period has started either before or after the start of a month and simply recognize the changing Period on our weekly posts instead.

It’s not a major issue, and certainly not something we’re going to devote a huge amount of time to, but it was an interesting and timely question proposed that we decided to address. As to whether Xyphoites should or can recognize, use, or celebrate the Earthian Calendar or the New Year, the answer is obvious. Yes, of course. There’s no reason why not. Mortals on Earth have relative time, which is measured by rotations around the Sun, so using the standardized system of measurement for that specific circumstance is perfectly fine, as is celebrating New Year’s Eve/Day. As it should be quite apparent now, Xyphoites can use both calendars simultaneously, one for relative time and another for spiritual indulgence.

  • Greetings from the Xyphokonic Order and Ordinance. We welcome you back! Continuing on our lengthy series on Purity and Lord Carnyie’s Xyphozon, today we’ll be discussing exactly how Purity eradicates corruption from a spirit or soul. As we discussed before, the Purpose of Purity is to grant Mercy to the innocent wrongly burdened with corruption, but what exactly happens to the corruption from an innocent given this pure mercy? Let’s discuss.

Let’s first begin by recapping what corruption is. Corruption is the bastardized force of Deceptuary’s spirituality—meant to disrupt the flow of spirituality throughout the Spectrum and cause it to fracture and break. What was once an attribute known as Divergence has since been defiled into corruption. As we know from how evil souls are cast into Terigath’s Hell, corruption latches onto spiritual beings by way of their Spiritual Anatomical Selfs, or simply their Selfs. All corruption latches onto the Self of a being and corrupts that Self from within—aiming at breaking the Core, the Psyche, and otherwise taking over the Self entirely.

As we know, the Azure Flames of Terigath have the power to purge the Self from a spirituality and chamber both that Self and the corruption attached to it in Hell for eternity. In a similar fashion, the power of Purity also works to rid corruption by eradicating it from a spirituality. In the case of Purity, the Pure energy takes the corruption of a being, shackles it partially to sections of the Self, and severs that corrupted boil from the spirituality before shocking the corruption until it is fully purged from the spirituality. The corruption may try to latch onto other entities, but more likely is that the corruption and whatever subset it was attached to will be eradicated—causing its spiritual end where it will therefore be cast immediately into Terigath for eternity.

Sadly, this process does come with the expected Misery that is prone to Purification, as the part of the Self that is used to sever the purity are various Wills of the spirit. Wills, or the motivating desires that give a spiritual being a reason to continue its existence, propel the being through existence—particularly during the period of Life. Often times, the corruption latched to an innocent will be done so through the perversion of a Will, and it will be that Will that shall be severed and eradicated. This process leaves the spirituality with a fragmented Self, or at least one missing a concurrent Will afterward. That is the Misery that is often accompanied by being granted Mercy. The innocent is forgiven of the unwanted Sin, but not without sacrifice. It is certainly possible, with the power of Love and Time, to rebuild such lost Will(s), but it will be a very tough and long process to once again patch the holes in the Self created by such severe trauma.

The Divine Attribute of Purity is one of dissonance, often accompanied by melancholy, and will always grant some form of Mercy to the innocent. As we continue these discussions on Purity, this theme will become quite apparent if it isn’t already. This will be especially true when we examine the key figures of the Carneiyean Xyphozon and especially the Child of Purity’s Sacred Lesson on Purity. Immorality in Xyphoist Philosophy Is a circumstance not forgiven without some kind of consequence, even in the cases of the corruption of innocence. Mercy exists solely for those circumstances, but with all things involving Purity, a sacrifice of Misery must be had in order to grant that Mercy.

  • Greetings from the Ordinance and Order. We meet here yet again on this Sacred Day to field yet another question. This time, a question was emailed to us from a spiritual but not religiously-affiliated reader curious about whether Xyphoites celebrate other holidays—particularly Christmas, so let’s answer this.

It’s somewhat of a bafflingly easy answer but to address that question of whether Xyphoites celebrate Christmas, the answer is no. We are Xyphoites, not Christians, so logically the answer would be no. Adding to that, the holiday of Christmas, in accordance with Christian mythology, highlights the birth of one of Deceptuary’s highest-ranking disciples, Gheisuhz dej Trinte, and ushered in the creation of the Archives of Hatred and the spread of one of the three theigrited philosophies. The entirety of this circumstance directly destabilizes the equilibrium and aids Deceptuary in his goal to collapse the worlds and reform them to be subservient to only him. We don’t celebrate Christmas, nor would we celebrate any holiday from any of the theigrited philosophies, that being Judaism and Islam and all of their subsets.

Other religious holidays from divergent philosophies would likewise not be celebrated by Xyphoites simply out of the principle that they aren’t Xyphoist celebrations. In fact, the entire premise of the Xyphoist Philosophy discourages the celebration of its own annual markers. As this is a realmly philosophy and system, there is no specific set time period to celebrate specific events as all time is relevant. For example, a Root Spirit in Aehixyka won’t be celebrating an event that is happening to Mortal Humans in Nikconzin based of the relative time frames. This doesn’t prevent Xyphoites from celebrating Earthly ethnic celebrations or other such non-religious/secular holidays, however. This pertains only to religious or spiritual holidays from other divergent/theigrited philosophies.

That being said, we aren’t interested in the immoral action of open proselytizing and aren’t going to shout down anyone for putting up holiday decorations who might be affiliated with the Ordinance or is a Xyphode. The malleability of our philosophy recognizes that the holidays this time of year have become very commercialized and almost secular; there are people, sometimes even atheist, who partake in holiday celebration to religious  philosophies they don’t believe in. The present-giving culture appears now to be a commercial and mainstay custom regardless of religious affiliation or lack thereof. We here at the Ordinance certainly aren’t going to persecute anyone for giving a gift to others this time of year, or putting up a tree/decorations to be festive with Yule; the putting up of religious homages to Gheisuhz dej Trinte or Christianity itself—including the singing of Christian hymns—would be considered too far off the Xyphoist Philosophy, but one can still enjoy this music from an artistic standpoint and not feel too strayed from the Order if they so choose. Either way, the Lords aren’t likely to bother themselves if a Xyphoist follower sings Carol of the Bells as there are much more important things to focus on.

It’s also recognized that, around this time of the year, the desire to be giving and altruistic tends to increase as so many people are in jubilee. This is where the pragmatic portion of Xyphoist Philosophy comes into play. At a time where most are in jubilee, a temporary serenity is possible across much of the Human word, and Xyphoites should take advantage of this by also contributing to the good energy. While it’s unfortunate that theigrited followers tend to only be altruistic at this particular time of year, this is a great time for Xyphoites to also contribute to the nature of mitigating worldly suffering, as we should be doing every day at all times regardless of the seasons. There is no need to spoil good vibes over philosophical differences, but we don’t, as a whole, partake in the religious ceremony of other philosophies.
