FAQ Lightning Round 3: More questions about Xyphoism

Greetings from the Xyphokonic Order and Ordinance. Welcome back to our Sacred space. As expected, we’re continuing our inspiration and divination by asking and answering questions about the Xyphoist Philosophy and providing some helpful clarifications as well. As a reminder before we begin, if you have a question you’d like answered, you can submit them here. We may answer them in a future Commentary or Question post, and we’re always happy to field questions about the Philosophy to those who seek such information. Let’s begin.

Question: What exactly is a Zhourghei?

Answer: This is somewhat of a dual answer. The term “Zhourghei” comes from the full name of this very Ordinance—The Ordinance of the Zhourghei. Calling this organization the Xyphokonic Ordinance or simply the Ordinance are perfectly fine shorthand terms as well. You can learn more about the specifics of the Zhourghei system in this summary.

In terms of using the term “Zhourghei” in its stand-alone form, that usage refers to the prospective nine great temples that shall one day be erected for each Xyphozon; the name of a  temple(s) is a Zhourghei.

Question: Is there a form of salvation or enlightenment that Xyphoites should seek or are expected to obtain before the end of their lives?

Answer: Not specifically, no. We highly encourage all people, regardless of faith, to seek good tenure in life and help mitigate worldly suffering in their own ways. There is a status known as Sacred Spiritualism which is a path the most devote Xyphoites can take through their life. Doing so requires being completely devotional to the Lords and the Order, willingly discarding the Self upon Death, and having signed the Contract of Zeiga and being a Zeigadii Xyphoite; the Contract of Zeiga is a Sacred Love Contract that essentially ties one’s entire being to the recognition of the Lords via Zeiga’s devotional watch of the Cosmos.

In pursuing the path of Sacred Spiritualism, upon Death, those that have devoted their lives to this path shall be sent to Parrinze in the Sacred Realm of Xyzokizon and be transformed into Angels that have fully discarded their selves and are one with the Lords—specifically the Xyphozon and Lord of the last life’s Descending Spirituality. So, if a Xyphoite who successfully pursued this path was born under one of Lord Pharuuii’s Periods of Watching, they will ascend to Angelic status as a Mage Angel and serve as part of Lord Pharuuii’s Xyphozon. This is essentially a form of enlightenment but not a requirement for anyone to take; it is entirely up to each individual.

Question: Is it true that non-followers of the Philosophy can be granted Terms in Aerigeth’s Heaven?

Answer: Yes, as this Commentary explains, the criteria for a Term of Heaven is holding good tenure in your previous life and not having committed grave immoral acts or Great Acts of Theigritism. As such, anyone of good tenure, regardless of faith, are allowed Terms in Heaven.

Question: Can people of other faiths convert to Xyphoism?

Answer: Sure, if they choose to. However, it is important that they must make that decision of their own Free Will; they cannot be converted or proselytized as we’ve talked about many times before. All converts must fully leave their previous faith and associations and provide proper documentation of exiting any churches or other religious organizations before joining the Ordinance.

Question: Can people leave the Xyphoist Faith and Ordinance? Are there any repercussions for leaving?

Answer: Anyone can choose to leave the faith at any point in their lives; there is no requirement to hold on to the faith if one chooses other paths in life—which is the point of Free Will and Spiritual Liberties in the first place. It Is important to note that anyone who wishes to make an official exit from the Ordinance should make a formal request to proper Ordinance officials and sign proper documentation for administrative purposes. This step is expected for a proper exit and cancelling membership of any Houses of Worship; this is entirely administrative so that we have record that someone is no longer a member of the Ordinance and will not receive any further correspondence from the organization proper. There is no repercussion nor penalty for leaving the Ordinance, but access to the grounds of Houses of Worship on a membership basis will be revoked.

Question:  Is there a form of ex-communication from the Ordinance for wrongdoing?

Answer: Yes. Members who commit grave sins under the Philosophy or any acts of illegality or criminality can have their membership to the Ordinance immediately revoked. Regularly committing any of the 7 Immoral Acts can be grounds for a review of membership status and possible revocation. Any Great Acts of Theigritism constitute grounds for immediate revocation. Cases of felony and in many cases misdemeanor acts, whether formalized with a conviction or otherwise, are grounds for a membership review and revocation. Any acts of illegality that happen on Sacred Grounds or using the name of the Order and Ordinance are grounds for immediate removal and complete cooperation with local authorities in any criminal investigations, cases pending. There are leniency in cases of illegal drug addiction and abuse, as we will still cooperate with local authorities but will advocate for and, in the future, hope to provide rehabilitation, intervention, and mental care to those who need it.

Question: Is there any form of repentance for sin in the Xyphoist Philosophy?

Answer: It highly depends. This Commentary regarding Xyphoist Purity explains cases where forgiveness is present within the Philosophy, but all willful and wanton acts of evil are never forgiven—particularly Great Acts of Theigritism. For lesser acts, taking accountability for errors, amoral acts, and other sins is the expected action to take rather than simply asking for divine forgiveness for making poor moral judgements. As, mentioned in this post, all Xyphoist Prayer is meant for mitigating the suffering of all, not for asking for forgiveness for bad judgements. Integrity and self-accountability are the expected ways to handle such circumstances in accordance with the Philosophy.

Question:  What are Descending and Consenting Spiritualities?

Answer: Simply put, the Divine Spirituality of the Lord whose period you were born under and the accessory Divine Spirituality of another Lord; the two combined create your individual Self’s spirituality. While the Descending Spirituality is quite obvious and determined by the Period in which one is born under, the Consenting Spirituality is often discovered throughout life through various passions and personality traits; there is a bit more fluidity in terms of how one discovers their Consenting Spirituality, but the Descending Spirituality is always quite obvious to determine.

Question: Is it okay to question your faith as a Xyphoite?

Answer: Yes, that is entirely the point of seeking Realmly Knowledge in the first place. We spend our Life seeking Realmly Truths locked deep within our own spirits that has been encoded by Hayle Zhii. It’s expected to hold doubts and uncertainties about existence, and the Xyphoist answer to this is to always seek inspiration and divination—to always as questions, seek knowledge, and test those findings to the core of the Philosophy. We hold confidence that the Philosophy will always provide the answers to any inquiry, and as such, do not worry about doubt or inward skepticism as our devotion and confidence in the Lords and Their Doctrine is absolute and shall be proven through the lessons and Realmly Knowledge they encourage us to seek out for ourselves.

And that shall conclude this round of questions. We hope these answers prove satisfactory and encourage you to continue your own journey towards divination and truth-seeking during this Period of Watching. As always, have a splendid rest of your Sacred Day from the Order and Ordinance.
